Baby Johann's starting to track movement with his eyes already.
He used to juse be able to MOVE HIS EYEBALLS ...
Now's he's able to move his entire head to follow an object from left to right.
Cool!
One of the most amazing things about my baby is the smell of his hair. I dunno why but i've got a kinda fetish for hair ... in the past when i was dancing salsa with ladies in the club, i wd smell their hair (Ssshhh) i luv to smell johann's hair... it's therapeutic man!
Recommended books to read:
1. ABILITY DEVELOPMENT from AGE ZERO
by Shinichi Suzuki
and
2. The Mozart Effect.
These 2 books have phenomenal examples and scientific proof, that babies, with their NATURAL inclination to music, enjoy musical stimulation while they are in their warm womb homes, through birth to 5 years.
and the effects of these stimulation are 3 fold or even more ... on personality, studying habits, cultural absorption, communication flow etc. amazing ... *must read*

Johann's able to look me in the eye with a feeling of acknowledgement already. He used to gaze at me as if he can't really focus. Now I can feel that he's registering the image and taking the sight in ... i at times wonder if he sees a monster when i wake up in the morning, and sees his poppy neat after work ... what's the difference ... but the voice is the same ... hmmmmmmmmmmmm
I enjoy singing to him, extremely therapeutic, and he registers , like most kids. Knowing that the sense of hearing is the most pronouced since 6 months in the womb and at birth, i felt the only ways of communication with babies: are Kinesthetically, and using audio .
Kinesthetically through touch, holding him close to heart beat, massaging, hugging.
Audio methods are voice communications, music, rattles etc.
Of course, eye contact is the key too ...
He's really cute when he goes into his favourite mouth position like "ooo" and he looks up, tryin' to register what he's hearing ...
And when he wakes up, stretches his arms, curls up his legs, lets go a breath of expelled air, twist and curl a bit during that yawn ... goodness. ;) :)
Now i kinda understand, when people say, there's a difference between a man, and a man with a child. Excluding the obvious difference in responsibility, there's a hearty feeling that grabs one's heartstrings, and it pulls, with a tinge of added love. It could happen with any child i hold, but the feelings are strongest, with my own child. ;)
